HIKE TIMES

Sunday hikes cover about 5 miles and start at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday hikes cover about 3 miles and start at 7:30 p.m.

2010 CLEARWATER FOREST TRIP

August 27-29. Our contract and down payment had to be sent to the camp in January to be sure we could have our specific dates and it is now time to reimburse Jackie Lallier for the down payment and let her know how to set up the housing (2 beds to a room with 3 beds in 2 of the rooms). The total for using the wonderful new building this year is $80.00/person-$58.00 for 2 nights and $22.00 for the 6 meals. (Jackie will handle the meals. In between meal snacks, which campers bring, are always welcome.) The down payment is $20.00/person. Send payments to Jackie Lallier, 27500 Mickelson Lane, Chisago City, MN 55013 before June 15th. ANNUAL POTLUCK PICNIC

Save Sunday, July 11th, for the Annual Potluck Picnic at Keller Regional Park. We are at the Golfview shelter #5, on the East side of Highway #61, near the golf course. Meet at 1:00 p.m. Bring food to share, plates, utensils, beverages and chairs. Take Hwy. #36 to 61 South, the picnic area is the driveway on the Left, go up the hill and around the bend until you see Marion or someone else from the club! Questions? 5th Place – Judy Nelson – 306 miles

6th Place – Marty Nelson – 306 miles

7th Place – Marilyn Steinwall – 304 miles

8th Place – Sally Nelson – 301 miles

9th Place – Carol Needels – 284 miles

10th Place –Hafizan Engebretson – 283 miles


The top 3 hikers received gift cards to REI, the top 20 also received a mileage certificate for the year. Others in the top 20 hikers were: George Hunkins, Betty Conley, Liz Morrison, Pat Hustings, Gail Stucky, Liz Drumm, Bill Barrett, Alan Yngve, Katherine Yngve and John Stucky. It will be an Annual tradition to award prizes to the top 3 hikers and there will be a prize drawing for anyone else present at the banquet every year.
