Meet in the parking lot of the Ft. Snelling Visitors Center, 200 Tower Ave. From St. Paul, go West on MN #5 (West 7th/Ft. Road) over the Mississippi River to MN #55 West exit, in mid-exit ramp, go Left, then Right at the next two stop signs. We’ll hike the river and Pike Island (big down/up hill included!).

Meet in the parking lot of Dodge Nature Center Preschool , 1715 Charlton, in West St. Paul. Take Hwy #52 South to Thompson/Wentworth exit, go PAST Thompson straight ahead to the next block which is Wentworth, turn right, go West on Wentworth, past Robert St. to the intersection of Wentworth and Charlton (about .7 miles) turn Left on Charlton and go about .2 miles turn Right, and another almost immediate right into the Dodge Nature Center Preschool parking lot. We’ll hike in Marthaler and Garlough Parks and some residential areas.

Meet in the new Gathering Center of Spring Lake Park Reserve (Schaar’s Bluff). Park on the South side (SW corner) of the picnic area closest to the paved trail that leads to the Gathering Center (Area) building. Take Highway #55 South, to #42 East, follow signs. We’ll hike through the reserve on unpaved trails.
