FROM THE EDITOR
Charlotte has decided that if she should fall again on one of the hikes, she will try to have the presence of mind to call out the code word - “TIMBER!!!”, so that others can be warned and, maybe, help stop the fall. If anyone else would like to use this code - feel free!

IN THE JULY TRAILBLAZER
I noted that I hate renewal time. This editor not only does the newsletter, but maintains the labels, membership roster and email list. There’s a lot of communication going on between Pat Hustings and myself, especially during renewal time each year. It’s often very chaotic! You can help us by sending in your membership renewals each year in a timely manner.

Note from Marty Nelson: Charlotte is a very important asset of our club. She deserves all of our support to make her work easier! In addition to all she mentions above, she works very hard serving as the club Publicity Director, serves as a voluntary Secretary at all our board meetings, is our source for the club name buttons, as well as a pace setter at many of our hikes. I appreciate the work you do, Charlotte!
